Alan co-created the Belle-V™ ice cream scoop, displayed at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and Ben & Jerry’s Factory Store, and led the founding team for QuietCare®, enhancing senior citizens' well-being. He is a sought-after guest lecturer at Northwestern, Penn, and MIT, and holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business.
