Can any dog use BrilliantPad?
BrilliantPadis designed for dogs under 25 pounds that currently use pads. BrilliantPad also works great when training puppies.
BrilliantPad is not recommended for adult dogs that do not currently use pads unless you are willing to make a significant effort in training. Additionally, transitioning senior dogs and attempting to train dogs that are timid or easily afraid of new items in your home to use BrilliantPad can be very difficult.
Does BrilliantPad replace walking my dog outside?
We believe it is very important to take your dog outside regularly to exercise and socialize. Some dogs go potty often and many people use pads so their dog won’t get uncomfortable holding it in when they are at work, stuck in traffic, asleep in the middle of the night. This is especially true for elderly, sick and disabled pet parents or anyone with mobility limitations.

Will my dog use BrilliantPad?
Transitioning dogs from regular pads to using BrilliantPadis fairly straightforward. Training a puppy to use BrilliantPad is no harder than training a puppy to use typical puppy pads. We provide free online training help and personalized training plans developed by university based veterinarians and animal behaviorists to help your dog become a BrilliantPad dog.
Will BrilliantPad fit in my home?
BrilliantPadmeasures 34 x 24 inches. The control module, which is located near the waste cover and holds the motor, sensor and controls adds 2 inches of width. The waste cover is 6 inches tall and the supply cover is 4 inches tall. The step up height for a dog is about 2 inches and the exposed pad area measures about 24 x 23 inches.

When does the pad advance?
You can set an automatic timer to replace the pad 1, 2 or 3 times a day or you can advance the pad anytime at the touch of a button.
Can it advance automatically after the dog steps off the platform?
BrilliantPad Machines available for immediate shipment have an adjustable timer. We are field-testing another model that advances the pad automatically after your dog leaves the machine. Customers can enjoy BrilliantPad model with the adjustable timer and new drip lip now and upgrade to the dog-activated model when it becomes available.
How often do I have to empty waste?
BrilliantPad is hands-free for weeks at a time. The machine stores the waste without any smell. When the roll is used up disposal is fast, easy and clean. The plastic backing provides a clean grasp surface and biodegradable end caps prevent leaks and odors.
